Actress Tisca Chopra has revealed on Sunday that her Instagram account was hacked and requested her followers not to react to suspicious links that are sent out via her account.
The actress, 47, posted on Instagram and posted a post notifying her followers that a lot of her posts and photos were “deleted”.
Chopra claimed she submitted a case to the cell for cyber crimes, and the authorities are looking into the issue.
“You all know how much I enjoy connecting with you guys here on the internet. I am a huge fan of sharing my work, life and entertaining content with you. Unfortunately, my account was hacked and a number of posts have been deleted, and my account has been hacked.
“The lovely peeps at @instagram along with the cybercrime cell assure me that this will be dealt with very fast.. And with strong consequences for the hacker(s),” she wrote.
The actress who has more than one million fans on social media, urged her followers to “not click on any links or DMs” from her account.
