Before we get into exploring, we should start with this lovely moniker. The term Velar (articulated vel-ar) has a real history as it was the title given to a version of their first Range Rover in the previous part of the 1960s.
The Velar also turned out to be the most compact Range Rover ever, with a drag coefficient of just 0.32. More elegant than its relative, it is incredibly beautiful, and also highlights the flat handles at the entrance that pop out when you press ‘open’ on the main dandy.
Just supplied by the Game but almost as low as the Evoque, the Velar has a remarkable street life with a long bonnet, the color of the front as the rear tail has been around for a while and the steeply sloping windshield.
Overall, the effect is complex and fun, making a fat roadster similar to the methodology of several German manufacturers seem predictable.
