Oracle Corporation (NYSE: ORCL) announced today that it had been selected to become TikTok’s stable cloud tech supplier. This technical conclusion by TikTok was significantly affected by Zoom’s recent achievement in transferring a large part of its own video conferencing ability into the Oracle Public Cloud.
“TikTok chose Oracle’s new Generation 2 Cloud infrastructure since it is much quicker, more dependable, and more protected compared to the first production technology now provided by the rest of the significant cloud suppliers,” said Oracle Chief Technology Officer Larry Ellison. “From the 2020 Industry CloudPath poll that IDC recently published where it surveyed 935 Infrastructure for a Service (IaaS) clients in their satisfaction with the best IaaS vendors such as Oracle, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, IBM and Google Cloud….
