Sandeep Bhatnagar stated that we have seen a growth in our occupancy levels over the past three month, between 12-15%.
It is close to 75% growth in travel search, which is the second largest online shopping platform after retail. Google expects a 53% increase in travel-related searches, with the holiday season beginning in April due to school vacations. The last summer data shows a 40% increase in gross bookings. If you take a look at long weekends, there is also a 15% to 20% increase in staycation.
Family travel has risen by almost 15%, thanks to the large number of family members who have been able to travel. Europe is recovering from two years of lows. We have also seen an increase of demand for France and Paris. UK remains number one travel destination. Other popular summer destinations include Mauritius and Dubai.
